Two weeks another feat was achieved by Ross Fisher in the Open de Espana as eagles were made by him towards the conclusion of his next round.
Fisher earned a BMW sports car value 130,000 when he holed out with a four-iron to get a stunning albatross-two on the final hole in the BMW PGA Championship, capping a back-nine 28 about the West Course before heading to finish outside the top 30 following a disappointing 76 on the last day.
The Englishman requires a solid finish to the year to retain his European Tour cardarriving in Madrid ranked 118th in the Race to Dubai, and he was flirting with the line when he made three straight bogeys to slide to a below with six holes to play.
Fisher drilled into a beautiful, and he managed to scramble a par at the sixth and rattled at the putt to an eagle-three, also greater was to follow at the second.
Fishers wedge from the middle of the fairway pitched before the pin and then spun back into the cup for another eagle, his fourth of the tournament, and he can now go in the weekend nicely placed around five under after rounds of 69 and 68.
I made a great up-and-down on six which was key, and then I hit a beautiful drive and also a very pleasant soft four-iron in the second, said Fisher, who has not had a top-10 end because the Nedbank Golf Challenge in November last year.
I didnt realise how long it had been until I watched Mr (John E) Morgan put up his hands so that I knew it was great and to roll that in was really, very fine – my next one of the week.
Subsequently to hit this shot on the subsequent hole and then back it up with a different eagle was fine. I had been flag searching on the past there trying to go three! I know I have had a run of birdies in a row if Ive gone back to back eagles, but I would be amazed.
To have four week, and I came really close yesterday to my second albatross in fourteen days, it literally ended four or three inches from going in. Two eagles yesterday about the par fives, they were kind to me, and also to create another one after which hole a shooter , it was a great moment.
