Notre Dame (9) vs Louisville

Swinging Johnson: This week Doug Upstone and leave our school football picks on the Monday night match between the Louisville Cardinals and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and also I shall deviate from our regularly scheduled program of NFL discussion to dip our toes.

I love the Irish but youre leaning on the Cardinals. Other than the venue do you think Louisville will hang with the boys out of South Bend?
Doug Upstone: Yup Swinger, a win and at least IMO, said a lot about the management of the Steelers and Titans. Lets move to real football, where the games rely and so will our recordings on this one.
Recall Louisville used to perform against opponents? They held their engineered and own several upsets. These were enjoyable games to see and the Cardinals were a thrilling golf club.

Swinging Johnson: The Cardinals will not be doing flying into this game since the Notre Dame defense will keep them comfortable in their nest. Scott Satterfield is currently in the big leagues and he has a team coming off of a dismal album this past year where they went winless in ACC action. This rebuild is comparable to taking a hot air balloon and trying to turn it.
While this may eventually occur, the problem is that Louisville is facing a team which made it into the CFP this past year and owned one of the stingiest defenses in all of college football, surrendering just 17.2 points over the regular season and moving a perfect 12-0 until they met Clemson from the CFP semifinals. The Irish offense clicked on all cylinders as well, averaging 33 points per game over.
My question is, how will be a quarterback like Pass whos slow to release, supposed to gain any traction against a defense that is Irish? Especially when he is working with an entirely new offensive scheme and a new coach?
Please, Doug, rescue me I am lost! I see no way, shape or form in which Louisville is going to be able to keep up and Im desperate for the ancestral wisdom and prodigious handicapping expertise!
Doug Upstone: Well, Swinger, Im happy to read in your last sentence you are coming over to the sunny side of sport gambling, or you are just being the exact identical wise a** you usually are. I will allow the SBR readers who are making college football selections decide on that. I am the first to realize Louisville was, however, 1-11 ATS and sucked last season.

And in this instance, because Louisville might be better compared to last year but Id submit that they could be coached with a Rhesus monkey and improve upon their deplorable record left by an trainer such as Petrino, you happen to be shooting blanks.
I understand that laying nearly 3 touchdowns on the road would be square biz for sure along with Joe Q.
