NASCAR’s first visit to the Roval (half road course, half oval) will be at Charlotte per week and a whole lot is up for debate.
Can this race play similar to a road course like Watkins Glen with a number of wide open sections where motorists can get some speed, or can it play more as an intermediate course where motorists Martin Truex Jr. and Kevin Harvick have mastered so often over the last two years?
The truth probably lies somewhere in the center, or even a little. BET Chicago states the Roval can play 33 percent like Charlotte Motor Speedway 33 percent just like Watkins Glen and another 33 percent like an intermediate class.
This is a race where moving chalk is the smartest choice, although that’s a lot to digest. Kyle Busch loves Watkins Glen; he’s coming from a win and he has success on paths as well. If he isn’t out ahead, he’s the betting favorite at 3/1 and will likely be stalking the leader.
