Josh McCown has been Sam Darnolds copy for the Jets last season and hes pitched for 17,707 yards and 98 touchdowns using 82 interceptions in 99 career games (76 begins ) with the Cardinals, Lions, Raiders, Panthers, Bears, Buccaneers, Browns and Jets.
The 40-year-old created three starts for the Jets last season and completed 60 of 110 (54.5 completion percentage) to get 539 passing yards and one touchdown with four interceptions.
McCown had among his best seasons in 2017 when he threw for 2,926 yards and 18 touchdowns with nine interceptions in 13 games for the Jets but the season, the team decided to draft Darnold and he also became his backup.
