Joe Cullen insists he is good enough to win a major following his European Darts Matchplay triumph

Joe Cullen insists he’s good sufficient to win a major after he maintained the Darts Matchplay championship.
Cullen, nicknamed’Rockstar’, acquired his maiden European Tour title # 1 Michael van Gerwen at the closing.
He’s set his sights, although the 30-year-old from Bradford includes three PDC standing titles to his name.
“One hundred percent it is about time I got into some European Tour closing, let alone winning one. It’s been a long time coming,” said Cullen, who’s back in the world’s top 16.
“To conquer the guy himself MVG at the final is a dream come true, ” I can’t put into words how happy I am at that moment.
“Hopefully this can get me into the Grand Slam, because I’ve never played with that championship in my own career.
“If I’m good enough to acquire one of these then I am fine enough to win a big.”
It is not very long to wait until darts is back on Sky Sports, the World Grand Prix gets underway on Sunday, October 6 in Dublin’s Citywest Arena October 12, and seven times of coverage continues until the final on Saturday.
