In my opinion the solution for being successful at the casino is preparation. Some of you might say … “what about education?” Well, they are right too but just partly, because education is just part of the education. The missing link is preparation and I will explain you why.
Education means that you need to learn how to play casino games but preparation means that you need to be capable to consider all the variables that will influence your outcome. Also, preparation means that you need to be able to counteract those variables.
Now, let me give you an example. Let’s say that you just learned how to pick a slot machine game and you take a trip to a casino to find and play on such a slot machine. When you get there you realize that there are only a handful of the wanted slot machines and you need to wait for one to be available for you to play at. And wait. And wait!
Maybe you’d start dropping coins into another slot machine, an unwanted slot machine while you wait. But being prepared for this annoyance you will wait, avoiding to blow your own bankroll playing at an unfavorable slot machine. Still, waiting for slot machine to open up, all that you do is “pass time” and this can be also annoying.
In conclusion, you need to prepare for these situations that overturn your plans of playing on a certain favorable slot machine. Now, you need to find solutions and perhaps that means coming in the middle of the night when you have your selection of slot machines, or you will need to decide to wait for half an hour and leave if the slot machine you waited for is still not available. Or perhaps you prepare with a back up plan and decide to throw the dice at a craps table to practice your craps betting skills.
In the end, what I am trying to say here is that you need to go prepared when visiting a casino and to have a plan and a back up plan in case things don’t go as you expected. You don’t need to waste your bankroll if plan A deosn’t work out.
